Only The Boring Get Bored
While sitting in our living room this afternoon I took a glance at our little side table, which is always stacked full of library books, video games and decks of cards. Another picture waiting to happen.
Although it’s never this precarious, of course. I definitely abused my artistic license for the sake of getting “the shot,” which included waking Felix up from a nap in his cat-bed so I could place him just so in the papasan. You should see the shot from when he decided he didn’t want any part of this little photo shoot!
As I was setting this all up, I thought of that old saying and wondered when the last time I was ever bored.

aw, poor Felix… no, seriously I think that cat knows to appreciate what it takes to get a good photo, determing from his posing skills in some earlier captures you posted lol.
ahhh! i just had to return Goodkind’s Wizard something or other book to the library! I was never able to even start it, and someone else had put a hold on it :( I am in the middle of another series by George R R Martin that I have on hold. And love Orson Scott Card, just finished the Seventh Son series last year.
Yes sometimes I find myself battling the blues, and whenever I feel bored I remember the many books I have unfinished, yarn to be knit, and this beautiful, walkable city to explore.
I’m the same. I have so.many. books to read that I’ve had to ban myself from buying anymore until I’ve read everything I’ve got.
Then there’s all these creative projects I want to do, all the photos I want to take, all the cakes I want to bake…
