Intermission
I had planned on jumping back into the blog saddle this week, but then I remembered all these commitments I’d made that involved not being home in front of the computer. So here’s an update on Felix and Franny… Not much has changed in their world, as you can imagine.
Awesome Links for Awesome People, Pt. II
I’ve been taking a break from the blog the last week or so, but not for a lack of photos. I’m burning through rolls of film by the day, but with that, there’s always the waiting game.
Mostly, though, I’ve been running around making plans for 2012 and trying to relax a bit before things...
Photoshop Actions Update
Boy, it’s been a long time since I talked about my Photoshop actions on here, hasn’t it? I do apologize for that. If you’ve been following along, I had both a new set of Photoshop actions and my first ever set of Lightroom Presets slated for release way back in the Fall.

Keli and Erik // Portland Wedding Photographer
You know what’s hard? Making downtown Portland look empty, 3-days before Christmas. You know what’s not hard? Photographing this awesome couple. Chris and I were honored to tag along as wedding photographers for Keli and Erik’s short-but-sweet wedding at the Multnomah County Courthouse.
How I Quit My Day Job
Ever since I took the plunge I’ve been getting questions about how I quit my job in order to focus on being a full-time photographer / kitten snuggler. One person specifically requested a post about the steps I took to accomplish such a goal, so I put together these business / photography tips in hopes...
Irving Park in November
Hopefully these three frames I shot when I ran into my friend Rory and his pup, Ella, will add some much needed balance to the previous creeptastic Irving Park post. I am really missing all those amber and golden covered trees right now — Fall in Portland is the most beautiful time of year.
