I met this fella on a walk home from the grocery store the other day, up NE 9th or 10th. I saw him sitting on a little grassy knoll next to some apartments and thought he was gonna bolt right away. He sure looks timid.

But then, when I got in closer and started scratching his head, I realized he’s just old. He barely moved an inch the whole time I was with him, unless he was nuzzling into my pets.

Aww.
