Last year a group of friends kicked off the summer with a water gun fight in Laurelhurst Park, and I’m happy to say that this is now an official summer tradition for us.
The first time around I was strictly there to document the fun; this year I sacrificed time behind the camera in exchange for getting sopping wet and running around screaming like a maniac. Between the waves of chaos we all grabbed some pizza on Belmont and my jeans were so drenched I could barely sit down.
Worth it.

NEXT YEAR.
Holdin’ ya to it!!
These pictures are outstanding! Totally in love with them. They honestly look like film. Did you use your own actions or something like VSCO Film?

Hahaha, these are great! Looks like you guys had a wonderful time.
Of course my Italy trip would interfere with it, haha! You can bet Cory and I will be there next year!
most fun group of friends ever! looks like you all had a blast!
This was no laughing matter, I can see they wanted to wing…at all cost. Great coverage and some excellent compositions in there too.
haha, looks like you all had a great time! I hope your camera stayed safe from all that water :)
There are no rules in war. Looks like a great time!
Why is this not a worldwide tradition? We definitely need a public holiday for this.
Love the expressions.

speeches and battle cries from Braveheart and 300 keep running through my mind as I look at these. Completely awesome!
