This is the year where I promised to stop taking Portland for granted and enjoy all it has to offer. In the winter, I rode out towards Mt. Hood to romp around in the snow with the boys from Harlowe and the Great North Woods. In the spring, I capitalized on my newfound ability to get pizza at almost any hour. Now, in the summer, I’ve watched fireworks on Mt. Tabor, drank gin on the Sandy River, and finally visited Lost Lake.
It only took me 3 years.

Lovely photos :)
I think we often underestimate what (and also who) we have close to us.
This summer I was forced to look differently at my town because I had no money to travel and go on vacation. So I stayed in my hometown and discovered some pretty things I hadn’t notice before ;)

Three years? You must feel pretty foolish, now. GOD I WISH I LIVED IN OREGON!!!
I wish you lived in Oregon, too. :)
Oh, Kim, those are beautiful! The one of your friend swimming with I’m-not-sure-what-mountain in the background is so incredible!
