Amanda & Kris are my kind of people. They’re easy-going and don’t get too hung up on the details. They just ride the wave wherever it takes them, and make sure to give each other a fist-bump when awesomeness occurs (like getting married).

Did I mention that they’re also Battlestar Galactica fans? Like I said, they’re my people!

Their short and sweet wedding ceremony was held at the quaint Oaks Pioneer Church down in Sellwood. The reception followed down the street at Oaks Amusement Park with a potluck picnic, and more little girls enamored by the happy couple than you can shake a churro at.

I was lucky (or crazy) enough to go on a few rides with the newlyweds and catch some of the giggles and screams. Let me just say this: If I thought shooting on a carousel is hard, I don’t know what I was thinking going on one of those tea-cup style rides!

Actually, I do know what I was thinking: This looks like fun!

That was pretty much the theme of the whole day: Have Fun (And Be In Love).

Amanda and Kris held up the theme splendidly.
