Lunch 11-9,10,11-2010

No, your eyes don’t deceive you and that isn’t a typo – I had this for lunch three days in a row.

See, I recently ate at Costello’s Travel Caffe for the first time and split a prosciutto and Havarti panini with Ben. After that treat I bought a small sample size at Whole Foods for a couple of bucks and realized that Havarti is the cheese of my dreams. There was some sourdough bread I needed to finish off before it went bad – and we all know I get no help from the hubs in that department – so grilled Havarti sandos with pastrami and onions it is. Plus potato chips.

Also, as a former vegan/vegetarian/born and raised carnivore who recently started casually eating meat again, let me just say that this is some of the best pastrami I’ve ever had. It’s from Wellshire Farms. I’ve been eating this along with Diestel‘s turkey pastrami, which I’ve found pairs especially well with melted Oregon 1-year cheddar.
